ABOUT THE FILM
On 15 November 1974, a BBC movie crew for ‘Outdated Gray Whistle Take a look at’, spent a day filming with John round Central Park and numerous different areas in New York, to make a video for the music “No matter Will get You Via The Evening”, directed by John. The video was by no means broadcast, however a small quantity of the footage emerged as a really quick edit for the music “#9 Dream” in February 1975.
In 2003, for the Lennon Legend DVD launch, Yoko Ono bought all the unique digicam movie reels at public sale, which had been very aged and broken from decay and scratching and, working with movie editor Simon Hilton, cleaned them up and assembled this extremely charismatic narrative of John, clearly tremendously having fun with himself on a lovely sunny autumnal time out in New York.
